Pascal and Sylvie, the previous owners of L'Escapade, have returned to St Martin after running L'Opera Brasserie in West Palm Beach. They have refurbished the old Cha Cha Cha building and tropical garden in the center of Grand Case and opened it as The Blue Martini Restaurant, Bar, and Tropical Garden. This was a labor of love, but the results are stunning. The dining room is striking in bold red accents against the somber beige walls (somewhat like this website). The restaurant menu is is a bit of French with a bit of Asian fusion featuring a lot of steaks, seafood, and salads.

The courtyard behind the building has been transformed into a beautiful tropical garden with a bar and several outdoor tables. It is a lovely and informal gathering place before or after dinner. The garden menu features tapas and typical bistro fare at attractive prices, although the restaurant menu is available here whenever the restaurant is open. There is music several nights per week and the outdoor area stays open into the wee hours of the morning.
